Course Description:

The goal of this course is to educate dental team members on providing exceptional esthetics for both direct and indirect CEREC restorations. Attendees will learn how restorative design techniques can translate to better restorative outcomes for your CEREC practice.

Course participants will receive hands-on instruction for placing composite restorations, utilizing simplified shade selection and other esthetics techniques.

Attendees will learn about restoration contours, anatomy, surface texture, line angles and occlusion. Each participant’s direct restorations will be copied and milled with CEREC in the afternoon.

Course Instructor:  Dr. Doug Schulz

Dr. Schulz has helped many of the “leaders” in CEREC technology master their skills. As one of several Beta testers in the world for CEREC milled surgical guides and CEREC software, and a certified CEREC instructor for more than 14 years, Dr. Schulz has intimate knowledge of how to successfully integrate CEREC technologies into a successful and profitable practice. He loves helping other clinicians and staff members master CEREC technology and grow their skills.

Dr. Schulz is a 1980 graduate of the University of Iowa College of Dentistry. He is a member of the American Dental Association, Kansas Dental Association, Fifth District Dental Society, Chicago Dental Society, and the L.D. Pankey Alumni Association.
